Maharaja Shri Agrasen is their (Aadi Purvaj), initial ascent. Shri Lakshmi Ji Goddess of good fortune is the caste Goddess. Maharaja Shri Agrasen had 18 sons (one of them was invalid), after whom 18 Gotras of Agarwal Community have been found. The &#8216;Gauda&#8217; branch of northern Indian Brahman act as priests for Agarwals. Caste members are among the most respectable and enterprising of all the mercantile classes and act as bankers, money lenders and land lords. They also form highly trained and educated community of India and have their own share in the professionalism. Agarwals are Orthodox in their conduct and diet. They are vegetarians and also shun Onions, Garlic, Carrots and turnips. The majorities are worshiper of God Vishnu but about 14% of the caste members follow the Jain religion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Present Pedigree (Family Tree)<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"528\" src=\"https:\/\/agarwals.co.in\/site1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/family-tree.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2484\" style=\"width:400px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/agarwals.co.in\/site1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/family-tree.jpg 600w, https:\/\/agarwals.co.in\/site1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/family-tree-300x264.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>The present pedigree (the Family Tree) goes to the roots at Etawah, where the most respected Shri Udaybhan Ji Agarwal resided and from whom rose this family tree &#8211; like a banyan tree with branches, sub branches with buds, leaves and flowers and ever spreading after migration from Etawah to the lap of Holy Yamuna and Betwa at Hamirpur &#8211; someone and half century back. The fragrance spread far and wide &#8211; even in many remote parts of India and some of the foreign countries. It covers almost two centuries and, in some cases, even thirteenth of their generation, which in itself is an achievement. It is true that we all are flowers and leaves and branches of this tree. When all branches, subbranches, leaves and flowers get together at their main root at Hamirpur &#8211; we will be inspired divinely and will have a unique spiritual feeling. This Family Tree includes the branches of daughters, leaves of this tree as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hamirpur<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Administrative headquarters of Hamirpur district in Uttar Pradesh State, Northern India on Yamuna River south of Kanpur. Hamirpur is drained by Betwa river also. Bridges have been built along river Yamuna and Betwa. Located at a road junction and near a major rail line, it is an agriculture, trade and small and medium scale industry center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hamirpur district, 2777 squire. miles (7192 sqe kilo meter) in area, is mostly level except for hills in the south. It has a population of 1042374 persons. There are 852 females against 1000 males. The decadal growth is 17.85%. The density of population 241 persons per kilo meter, 58.72% population is literate with women forming 40.65% among literate population. The town contains ruins dating from 11th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Etawah<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Etawah (From where this clan of Agarwals migrated to Hamirpur) is administrative headquarters of the district with the same name in Uttar Pradesh state, northern India on the Yamuna River southeast of Agra. The town is crossed by numerous ravines, one of which separates the old city (south from the new city (north): bridge and embankment connect the two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Etawah district 1669 square miles (4323 sq kilo meter in area) and comprises a stretch of alluvial plain drained by the Yamuna and its tributaries and irrigated by a branch of the Ganges Canal System. Present Chief Minister Shri Mulayam Singh Ji Yadav being from this district, it has seen tremendous development. Etawah has a population of 13,40,031 only as per 2001 census. There are 856 females against 1000 males. The density per kilometer is 856 persons. The literacy is 71.50% but among women it is 58.49%.
