{"id":519,"date":"2022-01-18T10:34:24","date_gmt":"2022-01-18T10:34:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/wordpress\/lineago-demo\/?page_id=519"},"modified":"2024-10-20T13:47:18","modified_gmt":"2024-10-20T13:47:18","slug":"family-history","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/agarwals.co.in\/site1\/family-history\/","title":{"rendered":"Family History"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Agarwals of Hamirpur<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">About more than 170 years back Shri Gopal Das Ji and Shri Durga Prasad Ji, descendants of Shri Udai Bhan Ji migrated from Etawah to Hamirpur and purchased Jamidari in different villages of Hamirpur and increased their business in Hamirpur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Government of United provinces of Agra and Awadh (Original name of U.P.) appointed Shri Gopal Das Ji as Government treasurer of Hamirpur. Shri Gopal Das Ji handed over this treasurer ship to Shri Durga Prasad Ji. Which passed on to Shri Ram Ji Mal to Shri Laxmi Chand Ji to Shri Ram Sharn Ji and Shri Chunni Lal Ji in this order hence this family of Agarwal&#8217;s of Hamirpur came to be known as Khajanchi Khandan and the mohalla in which their houses are located in known by the name of Khajanchi Mohalla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Hamirpur Temple of Baldau Ji alias &#8216;Dauji Maharaj&#8217;, its renovation and subsistence plan:<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"364\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/agarwals.co.in\/site1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/speacial-baldau-g-pic.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1234\" style=\"width:350px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/agarwals.co.in\/site1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/speacial-baldau-g-pic.webp 364w, https:\/\/agarwals.co.in\/site1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/speacial-baldau-g-pic-228x300.webp 228w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 364px) 100vw, 364px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The Garbhagrah of Dauji Maharaj Temple, Hamirpur<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>About more than a century and quarter back in the Sambat 1937 on 5th day (year 1880) of vaisakh and fortnight of sudi, a grand temple &#8220;Shri Baldau Ji Maharaj&#8221; was commissioned in the heart of the district of Hamirpur in the Mohalla Rameri by Shri Gopal Das Ji&#8217; under the supervision of Shri Durga Prasad Ji&#8217; which became the center of religious communities at Hamirpur along with Agarwals, who lived in and around the temple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main part of the temple comprising of &#8220;Garbhagrah&#8221; housing Balram, the elder brother (Dauji) of lord Krishna and also an incarnation of Aditatva (elemental nature) and Sankarashan, Anantnaag, and one of three Ram&#8217;s of Sanatan scriptures &#8211; Ram, son of Dashrath &#8211; king of Ayodhaya, Parsuram, the great angry incarnation of Vishnu and Balram and his wife Revati and younger brother Lord Krishna. It is said the founder wanted to put &#8216;Radha Rani&#8217;, But every time they tried, the statue always felt down refusing to sit with her consort- before her jeth &#8211; her consorts elder brother. With the passage of time and due lack of upkeep &#8211; the temple deteriorated in condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has a &#8216;Shivalaya&#8217; also with five statues, Shiv Linga and Nandi.
